MakeICT is operated entirely by member-volunteers, so there are many ways that you can be involved with MakeICT at whatever level you're looking for.
There's a page for one off Volunteering, and things that need to be done. This page is for ongoing things which need to happen repeatedly.

Around the makerspace
Here's a list of tasks that need to be done around the makerspace
- Front/Co-Working Space
- Vacuum the floor
- Dump the trash
- Lounge
- Clean bathroom
FabLab
- Empty trash
- Clean up the 3D printer area
- Put tools back where they go
Laser Cutter
- Check the bin in the laser
- Clean up and organize the laser scrap area
Electronics
- Sort/dispose hackables
- Empty trash
- Clean up work area
- Ensure power supplies are at minimal levels when turned on
- Tell area leads if there is a shortage of any supplies
- Make sure everything is off including soldering irons and hot glue guns
- Ensure bits of the mills are put away
Metalshop
- General shop cleaning
Woodshop
- Empty dust collector bin
- Empty trash
Administrative
- Upload the waiver forms to the system (Email the secretary for instructions)
