About Me
I joined MakeICT in January 2017, many years later than I should have. I had heard about Make, but I thought it was just 3D printers and laser cutters. Which, are totally awesome. I found out that there was so much more, and dove in, taking classes, and doing projects in the Woodshop, Ceramics Studio, Fab Lab, Printing Studio.... well, you get the idea.
I've recently stepped up and become one of the Ceramics Area Assistant Leads. Don't know what I'm in for, but I'm glad to help and have lots of ideas!
I work for the Kansas Food Bank, which is just up the street. When I'm not there, I'm either at Make, or at home binge watching scifi tv on Netflix or Hulu thinking up new things I can make.

Interests
Everything at Make is interesting! But specifically:
- Ceramics - I'm not any good, but it's great fun and every bowl is less ugly than the last.
- Woodshop - As a relatively new first-time homeowner there is always something I can do in shop.
- Fab Lab - Everyone is getting something either 3D printer or laser engraved for Christmas this year. ;-)
